The gas produced in B.C. is made up mainly of methane, a super-polluting greenhouse gas that’s 80 times worse for the climate than carbon dioxide.
If the B.C. government’s plan to massively expand fracking and LNG exports goes ahead, this one industry alone will blow B.C.’s climate targets. We’d condemn communities to more deadly floods, fires, and heat waves.
